Golden Retriever Throws Hilarious Tantrum After Owner Plays with Another Dog

It’s safe to say that Golden Retriever Benny was not impressed when his owner, Fernanda Miller, came home smelling suspiciously like another dog.

In a now-viral TikTok video, Benny’s reaction has left the internet in stitches.

The Smell of Betrayal

In the short clip, Benny is seen giving his owner a thorough sniff-down, only to glare at her with a look of pure betrayal.

Miller can’t help but giggle as Benny’s disappointment becomes more evident.

When she reaches out to comfort him with a gentle head rub, he dodges her touch and trots out of frame, leaving Miller murmuring a sad, “Oh.”

A Dramatic Exit

So, what led to Benny’s melodramatic exit? Miller explained that before returning home, she had been out and spent time playing with another dog.

The perceptive pup picked up on the scent immediately, and he wasn’t having it.

Miller shared the video on TikTok with a playful caption, calling Benny “so dramatic.”

The video has since garnered over 135,000 views, with commenters praising Benny’s commitment to his canine code of loyalty.

Already Apologized

One viewer jokingly called Benny’s behavior a “thorough sniff investigation,” to which Miller responded, “He checked every inch!”

Others demanded she make amends, and Miller confirmed she’d already apologized—though it seems Benny is taking his time to forgive her.

For now, Miller might need to find a way to get back in her pup’s good graces. And for Benny, the lesson is clear: There’s only room for one dog in his human’s heart.
