Meet Mischief the Cat Who ‘Buys’ Vapes and Breaks into Pubs
Some cats enjoy lounging in sunbeams or napping on cozy blankets, but not Mischief.
This adventurous feline is making waves on TikTok and Facebook for his outlandish escapades around his hometown, which include sneaking into pubs, attending university classes, and even “buying” vapes.
A Local Legend
Mischief, a tuxedo cat aptly named for his antics, has become a local legend in Plymouth.
He’s so well-known that residents have created a dedicated Facebook page, Mischief’s Adventures in Plymouth, to track his movements and share stories about his mischief-making.

According to social media artist Amii Illustrates, who regularly encounters Mischief, this cat has been spotted doing just about everything.
Whether he’s strolling through a shopping center, attending a Slimming World meeting, or hanging out at a university students’ union, Mischief is always on the move.
One viral post showed the cheeky cat appearing to “buy” an e-cigarette at a local vape store. Another picture had him in a Ladbrokes, where onlookers joked he might be “gambling.”
Mischief’s résumé also includes hopping into an Asda delivery van, allegedly breaking into Plymouth’s naval base (twice!), and even going to the vet of his own volition.
“Going to the vet’s by choice is insane,” commented one amused viewer.
A Cat with a Cult Following
Despite his rebellious streak, Mischief is adored by the community. His fans often share stories of his cuddly and friendly nature.
“He’s come into my work before and he’s such a sweet cat,” said one commenter.
Another recalled him showing up at their university accommodation, delighting students with his affectionate demeanor.
Some wondered if Mischief had an owner, given his apparent freedom to roam. Thankfully, Amii confirmed that the cat is not a stray.
“Yes, he does have an owner,” she assured fans.
Mischief even has a dedicated team of people who help bring him home when he’s gone too long. ‘
A recent update showed him “grounded” by his owner, proving that even the most adventurous cat has to face the music eventually.
While some might see Mischief’s behavior as troublemaking, most fans celebrate his free spirit. “God forbid cats have hobbies,” one user quipped.
Another added, “That’s not a cat, that’s your mayor tending to his constituents!”
