Against All Odds: Meet Belly, the Chihuahua Born Without Front Legs

When it comes to fostering dogs, Hannah Sand is no stranger to pups with unique needs.

But her latest charge, a Chihuahua puppy named Belly, is something truly special.

Born withtout legs

Born without front legs, Belly may be missing an important part of her anatomy, but she makes up for it with an incredible zest for life — something that’s captured the hearts of millions on TikTok.

Hannah, a Florida resident, began caring for Belly and a few other Chihuahua puppies — Sirius, Dobby, and Hedwig — after receiving them from the “Rags to Riches Animal Rescue” in February.

The rescue organization relies on dedicated foster parents like Hannah to nurture these puppies until they’re ready for adoption.

Loves Bellyrubs

While all the puppies are adorable, Belly quickly became the star.

True to her name, Belly absolutely loves belly rubs.

Videos shared by Hannah on TikTok show the tiny beige pup dozing off against her foster mom’s neck after a good rub, delighting viewers with her charm and resilience.

The videos have racked up millions of views, with thousands of comments from fans expressing their admiration and support.

Walking Aid for Dogs

Many viewers have even offered to adopt Belly, proving that the little pup’s positivity is infectious.

Hannah and Belly have formed a tight bond.

“She’s so tiny. I don’t even know how to hold you,” Hannah sweetly remarks in one of her early videos.

Since then, the duo has become a well-coordinated team, facing everyday challenges together.

Currently, Hannah is exploring mobility options for Belly.

She hopes to find the perfect walking aid to help the little dog get around more easily. In the meantime, she’s raising funds through PayPal to cover Belly’s medical expenses.
