A Bengaluru dog breeder just dropped a jaw-dropping $5.81 million on a dog that’s as rare as it is regal.

The canine, named Cadabomb Okami, is a unique cross between a real wolf and a Caucasian Shepherd, and now holds the title of the world’s most expensive dog.

A One-of-a-Kind Companion

Bred in the U.S. and purchased by Indian dog enthusiast S. Satish, Okami isn’t just rare, he’s reportedly the first of his kind ever sold.

At just eight months old, the massive pup already weighs in at 165 pounds and stands 30 inches tall.

“He’s an extremely rare breed and looks exactly like a wolf,” Satish told local media. “No one’s ever sold a dog like this before.”

The price tag may seem outrageous, but for Satish, who owns more than 150 rare dog breeds, it’s part of a passion. And Okami, he says, is worth every rupee.

More Than Just a Dog – He’s a Star

Satish keeps his collection of rare dogs on a sprawling 17-acre estate, and regularly shows them off at events across India.

Okami has already made appearances at high-profile gatherings, including film premieres, where the attention he draws rivals that of celebrities.

“I get more attention than an actor at a movie screening,” Satish said. “People are always curious. They take selfies, ask questions, he’s a real crowd-puller.”

This isn’t Satish’s first extravagant purchase. Last year, he spent $3.25 million on a rare red panda-like Chow Chow. But with Okami, he may have outdone himself, and cemented his place in canine history.
